Juanita Vogler Strader

Mrs. Juanita Vogler Strader, 86, of Winston-Salem died Wednesday, October 8, 2008 at Forsyth Medical Center in Winston-Salem. She was born June 11, 1922 in Forsyth County, the daughter of the late Dallas W. and Stella Todd Vogler. Mrs. Strader was a member of Love's United Methodist Church in Walkertown where she belonged to and occasionally played the piano for the Oran Sawyer/Nancy Wilson Sunday School Class. She was a graduate of Lewisville High School. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Max H. Strader, Sr. Survivors include two sons, Max H. Strader, Jr. and wife, Sonya of Charlotte and Marshall Wayne Strader of Winston-Salem; four grandchildren, Gregory Bryan Strader of Winston-Salem and Gary Preston Strader and wife, Heather, Peter Timon Strader and wife, Jane and Adam Ward Strader of Charlotte; seven great grandchildren; one sister, Kathleen Sprinkle of Winston-Salem; two brothers, Dallas W. Vogler and wife Aleesa of Westfield and Donald R. Vogler of Winston-Salem; and a number of nieces and nephews. The funeral service will be conducted Saturday at 2:30 PM at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel, Winston-Salem with Dr. Allen Schuyler officiating. Burial will follow in Gardens of Memory, Walkertown. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
