Juanita Holland Riddle

Juanita Holland Riddle entered into eternal rest on Monday, July 6, 2015 at the Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home following a period of declining health. She was the daughter of the late Wilbur and Dora Frisbee Holland and a native of Asheville, NC. She and her late husband, Richard Riddle, who died in July 2014, moved to the Winston Salem area in the early 1960s after his employment with Western Electric. She is survived by a son, Richard (Mary) Riddle, daughter Donna Riddle, grandson Garrett Riddle all from the area and brother Marvin Holland of Burnsville, NC. Juanita had been a supportive spouse while Richard attended college in NC and in Texas and while he served in the US Army in Texas. They had been married 64 years. A funeral service will be conducted at 12:00 PM on Thursday, July 9, 2015 at Parklawn Mausoleum Chapel with Chaplain Rennie Adcock officiating. The family will receive friends from 10:30 AM until 11:30 AM at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home, 101 Hospice Ln., Winston-Salem, NC 27103.
