Mrs. Juanita Farley Parry, 87, of Winston-Salem passed away Tuesday, January 26, 2010 at her residence. She was born in Hinton, West Virginia on March 4, 1922 to the late Joseph and Ida Hughes Farley. Juanita was a member of Mt. Juliet United Methodist Church in Belle, West Virginia for 50 years, she was president of the United Methodist Women as well as started the Young at Heart Club for Senior Citizens, and started a memorial fund for the church. She sang in the choir, helped with flower arrangements, and was past president at the Belle Garden Club. Juanita joined Clemmons First Baptist Church after moving to Winston-Salem. Her greatest love, besides her family, was her beautiful flower garden. She was preceded in death by two brothers and three sisters. Juanita is survived by her loving husband of 72 years, Ernest ""Ernie"" R. Parry of the home; a daughter, Carol P. Cross of Clemmons; a granddaughter, Marie Daniel and husband Lee of Clemmons; two great grandchildren, who were the love of her life, Carlie and Ivy Daniel; and many other family members. A funeral service will be conducted 2:00 PM Thursday, January 28, 2010 at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel. Burial will follow at Westlawn Gardens of Memory. The family will receive friends from 12:30 pm - 1:45 pm, Thursday, prior to the service at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Mt.
