Juanita Joyce Griffin Livengood

East Bend- Mrs. Juanita Joyce Griffin Livengood, 77, passed away unexpectedly on August 1, 2012 at her home. She was born August 21, 1934 in Guilford County to the late L.C. Griffin and Pearl Sowders Griffin. Mrs. Livengood was a member of Boyer's Chapel Church of Christ and was retired from R.J. Reynolds with over 30 years of service. She enjoyed gardening and working on jigsaw puzzles with her friend, Harold Wright. She was preceded in death by her husband, William Thomas Livengood and twelve brothers and sisters. Mrs. Livengood is survived by her two daughters, Linda Livengood-Warner and husband Randy of Clemmons, and Vickie Livengood-Sisson and husband David of Pfafftown; two grandchildren, Sabrina Rose Hicklin and husband Sean, and David Thomas Warner; a great-grandson, Cole William Simpson, and a special friend, Harold Wright. A funeral service will be held at 2:00pm, Sunday, August 4, 2012 at Boyer's Chapel Church of Christ with Mr. James Percival officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00pm until 8:00pm on Saturday at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel.
