Juanita Frances Jones Harding, 93, of Mocksville, passed away Tuesday, December 11, 2012 at Autumn Care of Mocksville. She was born in Caswell County to Ruth Hatchett and Robert Jones on February 21, 1919. Mrs. Harding attended UNC Greensboro and worked at Farm Security Administration in Winston-Salem; the Pentagon; Kelly Field in Texas; and Kirtland Field in New Mexico during WWII. After the war, she moved to Davie County where she raised two sons, and was a housewife and farmer. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, J.C. Harding, Sr.; a son killed in the Vietnam Conflict, John Charles Harding, Jr. Surviving are one son, Joseph H. Harding of Farmington; one brother, Richard Jones of Fancy Gap, VA; and several nieces, nephews, and their families. A memorial gathering will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, December 16 at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel. Memorials may be made to the Salvation Army, 622 N.
