Juan Marini

Mr. Juan Jose Marini, better known as "Juangyver", 79, passed away Tuesday, December 26, 2017, surrounded by his family. He was born on October 7, 1938, to the late Ernesto Marini and Amparo Vasquez Marini, in Buenos Aires, Argentina. He resided in King for the past 38 years and was an integral member of the community. He was a true humanitarian and committed his time to helping improve the lives of others. We were incredibly fortunate to have learned many valuable and unforgettable lessons from Juan over the last 79 years. Among them: you can fix anything with duct tape, ice cream should be eaten after every meal, everything should be well organized and labeled, and be careful what you are doing at every moment because in 3 minutes and 47 seconds, there will be a self-printed photo of you on the fridge. Juan was a self-motivating man with an incredible background in business ownership. He had remarkable time management skills and was a phenomenally charming and motivating communicator. He had many varied hobbies and talents. He enjoyed acting and had the opportunity to be in commercials, movies, and voice overs. Although one of his greatest hobbies was obtaining his pilot's license and flying, that was nothing compared to his greatest treasure, which was his wife Rose of 47 adventuresome years. He worshiped the ground she walked on, even though he rarely swept it. With all the love he had for his wife, he managed to save just enough for the rest of us. In addition to his parents, Juan was preceded in death by his granddaughter Madison "Maddie" Bailey Marini, who we are most certain brought her entourage of 4-legged and sometimes 3 -legged family members to greet her Papa and show him where all the ice cream is stored. He is survived by his wife Rose Elaine Marini; daughter, Claudia Marcella Marini; sons Adrian Ernesto Marini; Enrique Marini; sister-in-law, Monica Hanley (James); a variety of nieces (Michelle, Deanna, Alysha, Colleen, Katelyn, great-nieces; Audrianna and Gracie), with the same witty personalities who will embellish his memory. A memorial service will be conducted at 5:30 PM Thursday, January 4th, 2018 at Good Shepard Church in King. Online condolences may be made at www.hayworth-miller.com. (Hayworth-Miller Rural Hall). In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Maddie's LLC, 2247 Wildflower Court, Asheboro, NC 27205 (Maddie's Mission).
