Joyce Ward Palmer

Mrs. Joyce Ward Palmer passed away July 25, 2021, at Forsyth Medical Center. She was born in Texas on July 4, 1933, to the late Walton Malone Ward and Emma Victoria Burney Ward. She was preceded in death by her husband Jack Palmer; and three sisters. Joyce was a member at Griffith Baptist Church. She retired from Forsyth County with 17 years of service. Joyce loved spending time with her family and was a mom to everyone. Joyce is survived by three children Michael Palmer, Helen Jean Cook, and Joyce Elaine Patterson; grandchildren Amanda Fulk, Jackie Broadus and family, Tony Cook and family, Wesley Patterson and family, and Kelly Cook. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM Wednesday, July 28, 2021, at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel. Burial will follow at Parklawn Memorial Park.
