Joyce Sellers

Kernersville – Joyce Jones Sellers, 91, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, July 28, 2021, at her residence. She was born on March 22, 1930, in Grayson County, VA to the late Haskell and Pascal Jones. Joyce lived most of her life in Grayson County and moved to Kernersville in 2004. She was a member of Pleasant Hill United Methodist Church for 70 years. Joyce was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. She was very family centered and loved them with all her heart. Joyce loved listening to music, gardening and canning, bird watching, her gym trips with her girlfriends, and mostly enjoyed a good conversation.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her beloved husband, John Phipps Sellers and her brother, Bobby Jones.

Left to cherish her memories are her daughter, Pam McDaniel (John) of High Point, NC; two sons, Tim Sellers (Margaret) of Elk Creek, VA and Randy Sellers of Hillsville, VA; seven grandchildren, John McDaniel, Jr., Traci Campbell, Robert Sellers, Jerod Sellers, Rachel Sellers, Hayley Sellers, and David Sellers; one great-grandchild, Maddux Campbell; and her siblings, Hazel Flowers, and Patsy Mayer.
