Joyce Lynn Paxton (Shaffer)

On July 12,2023 at 11:35pm Jesus took the hand of my beloved and walked her into paradise from the pain and suffering that she dealt with, so she’s now home, pain free and in love with Christ.

She is survived by her loving husband of 58 years Joseph Paxton of the home , One son Joseph Paxton II (Renee) of Winston Salem, NC, Two brothers Harold C. “Scrump” Shaffer (Pat) Aliquippa, PA, Kurt Shaffer (Beth) Salem, Ohio, and a host of nieces and one nephew. A memorial service will be held at 11am Saturday August 5, 2023 at First Alliance Church 1601 Pope Road Winston Salem, NC.

In honor of Joyce the family has set up a memorial fund that will be used for the furtherment of the Goodnews Gospel into a hurting world.
