Joyce Reeder Bain

Mrs. Joyce Reeder Bain, 85 of Winston-Salem and formerly of West Palm Beach, Florida died Wednesday, September 16, 2009 at her home. Mrs. Bain was born December 27, 1923 in West Palm Beach, Florida a daughter of the late Lee Reeder and the late Alma Lee Reeder. She and her husband owned and operated Bain's Dry Cleaners for 47 years in West Palm Beach. She was a true southern lady who always made everyone feel welcome. She was a member of South Fork Church of Christ. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William Bain in 1997. She is survived by her children, Sherri Bain and M. Reed Bain and wife Martha, sister, Bobbi June Kuick, grandchildren, Kelly Bain and wife Betsy, Shannon Bain and wife Joy, and Reeder Bain. A funeral service will be conducted 2:00 PM Saturday, September 19, 2009 at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel with Charles Belch, Minister officiating. Interment will be in Hillcrest Memorial Park in Florida. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
