Joy Faye Lunsford Wood

WOOD - WINSTON-SALEM Ms. Joy Faye Lunsford Wood passed away Monday, August 15, 2011 at Grace Healthcare of Winston-Salem. She was born in Forsyth County on October 19, 1948 to the late Ila Narvelia ""Vee"" Bates Lunsford and Isaac Hardin Lunsford. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Wood was preceded in death by one sister, Lillie Chang and one brother, David Lunsford. Surviving are two daughters, Jody Lynn Manning (Lonnie Hardy) and Bobbee Gretchen Driver (Calvin); one son, Ray Wade Manning (Gina); three grandsons, Calvin Jr., Jacob Ray and Dustin Allen; four granddaughters, Shancie Lynn, Brandie Lynn, Brianna Noel and Rachel Michelle; three great-grandchildren, Serenity Faith, Lily Truth and Jackson Hester; and also, two sisters, Toni Atwood and Nyoka Little. A private memorial service will be held for the family at a later date. The family will be receiving friends at their homes.
