Josie Montgomery

Mrs. Josie Brammer Montgomery, 81, of Advance passed away Thursday, December 28, 2017 at her home. She was born May 1, 1936 in Patrick County VA to Arthur Talmadge and Bessie Midkiff Brammer. Mrs. Montgomery spent most of her working life as a seamstress and retired from Jockey International. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph Arvey Montgomery. Surviving is a daughter, Debbie; a son, Richard; five grandchildren and 6 great great grandchildren. A graveside service will be held 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, January 2, 2018 at Westlawn Gardens of Memory with Rev. Russell Myers officiating. The family will greet friends following the service.
