Joshua Rominger

Mr. Joshua Michael Rominger, 18, of Advance passed away Wednesday, April 10, 2013 at Brenner Children's Hospital after losing his battle with synovial cell sarcoma. Josh was born January 21, 1995 in Forsyth County to Michael Lee and Denna Hanks Rominger. He was a member of Mocks United Methodist Church and a senior at Davie High School. He was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Richard Warren Rominger and George Richard Hanks. Surviving are his mother and father; sister, Jennifer Rominger; maternal grandparents, Barbara Halley Hanks and Dale Murphy, and paternal grandmother, Lois Yates Rominger. A funeral service will be held 3:00 p.m. Saturday, April 13, 2013 at Hillsdale United Methodist Church with Rev. William Taylor and Rev. Greg Lewis officiating. A private burial will follow at Mocks United Methodist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. on Friday at Hillsdale United Methodist Church.
