Joshua Alan Conrad, 6, passed away Tuesday, March 15, 2011 at Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center. He was born July 25, 2004 in Forsyth County. Joshua was a vivacious and determined child who won the hearts of many people. He loved to eat and play with his cars. He was preceded in death by his great grandmothers, Helen Conrad and Katherine Trail. Surviving are his parents, Amanda Conrad Bowles and Bradley Bowles; his twin sister, Olivia Conrad and a sister, Meredith Bowles; his maternal grandparents, Richard Conrad and Jean Boose, Janet Trail and Lindsay Barr; his paternal grandparents, Carol Bowles and Stephen Bowles; his uncle, Richard Conrad; aunt, Kathi Gortman and numerous cousins and other family members. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, March 19, 2011 at Ardmore Moravian Church with Rev. Jon Boling officiating. Interment will follow in the Salem Moravian Graveyard. The family will receive friends from 6-8 pm Friday at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel. The family would like to thank Brenner Children's Hospital, Children's Center, Special Children's School, and Southfork Elementary for all the care, love, and support given to Joshua for the past six years.
