COCKERHAM Joshua ""Cockerham"" Mabe, 23, of High Point, NC, went home to his heavenly father on August 18, 2010. He was born April 6, 1987 in Forsyth County to Christopher and Paula Mabe. Josh graduated from North Davidson Senior High in 2005. He joined the United States Army in 2005 and was stationed at Fort Sill, Oklahoma, serving a 1-year tour in Iraq. He was employed by Kleggs Termite Pest Control. He was a member of Triad Baptist Church in Kernersville, NC. Joshua was a loving and devoted son, brother, grandson, nephew, cousin and a good friend to all. In addition to his parents, he is survived by his wife, Jadi Cockerham of Oklahoma; two sisters Brandee and Brittanie Mabe; four grandparents, Dennis T. Cockerham (Josh's hero), Janet & Graylin Wesley, Beverly Williams; ten cousins Trish Myers, Ashley Myers, Krystal Howard, Michelle & Laura Gordon, Alexis, Hailey, Maggie, Alex and Lil' David; three aunts and uncles, Jeff & Carolyn Myers, John & Teresa Ryan, and Barry and Kewaunee Erdmann. A memorial service will be held at Hayworth-Miller Funeral Home Silas Creek Chapel Sunday, August 22, 2010 at 2:00 pm. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
