Joshua Alexander Carson

Joshua Alexander Carson was born on January 13, 1997, at the Women's Hospital in Greensboro, North Carolina. Joshua was not expected to live beyond 18 hours, days, weeks, months, or years... he waved the banner for Christ for 18 years. His loving parent's, Ben & Joyce Carson, were committed to help Joshua live his life fully while sharing the gospel of Christ through the miracle of his life. This would have been Joshua's expected year to graduate high school; he graduated to heaven on the eve of Thursday, April 23, 2015... what a divine graduation! Joshua attended the Special Children's School for preschool, transitioned to the Children's Center through 5th grade, graduated from Lowrance Middle School and entered Carter High School. Joshua's life is celebrated by a loving family, Benjamin J. IV, and Nathaniel B. (brothers), Lola A. Evans, (maternal grandmother), Benjamin J. and Christine Carson, Jr., (paternal grandparents), Robert and Mariette Polite (uncle/aunt) and their children, Immanuelle and Isaac. Lisa Evans (aunt), Geri Blasingame (great aunt), and her children Rebecca and Larry White and family, Cindy and Todd Baker and family, Lt Col Ret Frank Blasingame ( great uncle) Lt Col Ret John R. and Susie Pearson (great uncle/aunt) and their son Bob Pearson. Extended family Joe and Emma Battle and family, Michael and Kristal Brown and family. A celebration of life service will be held Saturday, May 2, 2015. Visitation at 12:30 p.m. until 1:45 p.m. and service at 2:00 pm at Calvary Baptist Church, 5000 Country Club Rd. Winston-Salem, North Carolina. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Winston-Salem Foundation, 751 West Fourth Street, Suite 200, W-S, NC 27101, for the Joshua Carson Memorial Fund.
