Josephine Marie Baldwin Tilley

Kernersville – Josephine Marie Baldwin Tilley, 82, passed away Saturday, January 11, 2025, at Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home. She was born on January 19, 1942, in Forsyth County to the late Curby Frank and Lanta Marie Stafford Baldwin. She worked at Tyco for many years until her retirement. Josephine was a very stylish, hardworking, and strong woman with a little sass. Her favorite thing in life was to shop off the television, on QVC. Josephine also loved annual beach trips. But most of all she loved her family, especially her grandchildren and grand dogs Jagger, Cali, and Carl. Josephine was a loving mother, grandmother, and friend, who will be dearly missed.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Jeanie Thomas; two grandchildren, Trey and Jacy Swaim; three brothers and spouses, Frank (Frances), Clyde (Betty), and Charles Baldwin; and one sister, Jacqueline Baldwin.

Those left to cherish Josephine’s memory are a son, James Swaim; a daughter, Amy Morgan (Harold); and four grandchildren, Vann Swaim, Miranda Morgan, Levi Morgan, and Destiny Law.

A graveside service will be held at 1:00pm, Wednesday, January 15, 2025, at Eastlawn Gardens of Memory - Mausoleum Chapel. Hayworth-Miller Kernersville Chapel is assisting the family.
