Mrs. Josephine Banner Larimore, 92 of Winston-Salem passed away Saturday July 12, 2008 at Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home. She was born September 16, 1915 in Forsyth County to Charles F & Bessie Berrier Banner. Josephine was a member of Crestwood Baptist Church where she taught Sunday school and sang in the choir. She retired from Hanes knitting company after 27 years of service. She was preceded in death by her first husband Arthur C. Larimore and her second husband Thomas D. Flynn. Also preceding her in death was a brother Frank Banner and a sister Ramona Banner. Survivors include her 3 sons A.C. Larimore Jr. and wife Bonnie, Don R. Larimore all of Winston-Salem & David Lee Larimore and wife Dottie of Cookeville, TN; 8 Grandchildren Greg Larimore, Lisa Randleman, Brian Larimore, Kristen Woods, Vann Larimore, Mark Larimore, Jaythan Larimore, & Gloria O'Guinn;10 Great-Grandchildren; 3 Sisters Georgia Speas, Kathryn Hudson , and Helen Caffey; and 1 brother Reginald Banner. A funeral service will be held 11:00 AM Monday July 14, 2008 at Crestwood Baptist Church with Rev. David Wood officiating. Burial will follow at Crestview Memorial Park.
