Mrs. Josephine Beshears Clark Hildreth, 94, of Clemmons, passed away peacefully at the hospice home with her family around her on Thursday, March 3, 2011. She was born on March 24, 1916 in Wilkes County to the late James Dixon Beshears and Florence Calloway Beshears. She was proceded in death by her parents, her husband of 31 years, Edgar Clark, her husband of 28 years, George Hildreth; a son, Willard (Bill) Clark, and daughter-in-law Sylvia Ragsdale Clark; 6 brothers and 2 sisters. She leaves behind to cherish her memory a daughter Christine Altizer of Kernersville; a son, Grant Clark and wife Beth of Clemmons; a daughter Delores Clark of Clemmons; 7 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren, 2 great-great grandchildren and one on the way; her brother James Dixon (JD) Beshears of Clemmons. Her greatest pleasure in life was time spent with her family. Her life revolved around her children and grandchildren. She was a long-time member of Pine Chapel Moravian Church. She retired from Western Electric where she acquired many wonderful friends and memories. She was a rock, a force of unconditional love and support that could not be broken. Her devoted granddaughter Deana Lyons was her caregiver for the last 15 months. Because of Deana's love and devotion she was able to remain at home in the surroundings that she cherished so dearly. Celebrating a life well lived, we will cherish the memories forever. A celebration of life service will be conducted at 1:00 PM on Sunday, March 6, 2011 at Hayworth-Miller Funeral Home Silas Creek Chapel with James Demby, Norwood Greene and Tim Sapp officiating.
