Mr. Joseph ""Joe"" Franklin Warren, 53, of Clemmons, passed away Sunday, January 29, 2017 at his residence. He was born May 10, 1963 in Forsyth County to Henry and Frances Byrd Warren. He was of the Christian Faith. He graduated from U.N.C.G. and then attended and graduated from Georgia State University with his BS Degree in education. After graduating he taught elementary school in the Fulton County School System, in and around the Atlanta Metro area for about fifteen years, and then returned home to be with his family. He enjoyed working and volunteering with the Forsyth Humane Society. He was an avid sports fan enjoying all types of sports, especially pulling for the Atlanta Falcons and Wake Forest. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, and one sister Jane Louise Warren. He is survived by his Parents Henry and Frances Byrd Warren of Clemmons; Two sisters Judy Herman and husband Mark of Clemmons, and Jan Warren of Lewisville; Two nieces Katie and Grace; Three nephews Tommy and wife Joy, and Andy and his wife Katie and Jackson; two great nieces Molly and Morgan Jacobs; great nephew, Henry Taylor, and a host of special cousins and extended family; two special friends Jeff Johnson and Louise B. Jacobson, and last but not least his special dog Riley. The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm on Wednesday, February 1, 2017 at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel. The family would like to thank the Davie Team from Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home for all the care and attention they gave Joe during his illness.
