Joseph Pegg

GREENSBORO – Joseph Franklin Pegg, 65, passed away Tuesday, October 15, 2019 at his home. Joseph was born on December 4, 1953 in Guilford County to Charles and Mildred Bolen Pegg. He loved fishing, golfing and rabbit hunting, along with raising beagles. Joseph also enjoyed playing guitar and loved watching birds.

In addition to his parents, Joseph was preceded in death by two brothers.

Surviving are his wife, Donna Pegg; two sons, Scooter Pegg (Trisha) and Daniel Pegg; three grandchildren, Tory, Hunter and Savannah; two brothers, Dwight Pegg (Mary) and Mark Pegg; two sisters, Patricia Caviness (Bernie), and Betty Easter; along with many nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, October 18, 2019 at Hayworth Miller Kernersville Chapel with Bernie Caviness officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:00 – 1:45 pm prior to the service at the funeral home.
