Joseph Burton Huffman

Mr. Joseph B. Huffman, 92, passed away Sunday, September 12, 2010. Mr. Huffman was born in Forsyth County, May 5,1918 the son of the late Burt and mamie S. Huffman. He was a veteran of WWII and a member of Concord United Methodist Church. He was preceded in death by two sons, Joe, Jr. and John E. Huffman. He is survived by his wife of 68 years, Lewana H. Huffman of the home; two sons, Ronald L. ( Jeanie) Huffman and David A.( Diane) Huffman, all of Clemmons; two grandchildren, Jason Huffman (Jeni) and Jennifer Haning (Gary) all of Winston-Salem; two great grandchildren, Dean Huffman and Alyssa Haning of Winston-Salem. Also surviving are a sister, ruby Reich and a brother, William A. Huffman of Winston-Salem. A graveside service will be conducted at Westlawn Gardens of Memory in Clemmons on Tuesday, September 14 at 1:00 p.m. with Rev. Thomas Albert officiating. The family will receive friends at the Family Life Center of Concord United Methodist Church immediately following the graveside service.
