Mr. Joseph Howard Craig, 72, of Winston-Salem passed away Friday, July 11, 2008 at Forsyth Medical Center. He was born December 24, 1935 in Rockingham County to John William and Mary Lily Corum Craig. Mr. Craig was a loving father, grandfather, brother and companion. He loved to go camping, especially at the beach and had a love for cars. He was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters, Shirley Tilley and Dorothy Kallam and a brother, Joe Craig. Surviving are three sons, Mike Craig (Kimberly) of Stokesdale, Terry Craig (Donna) of Madison, and Darrell Craig (Margie) of Stokesdale; 8 grandchildren; five sisters, Irene Cox (Howard) of Strongsville, OH., Louise Harris of Eden, Barbara Pylant (Lester) of Archdale, Linda Stultz of TN., Brenda Gladwell (Gooch) of Fayetteville, GA.; two brothers, Curtis Craig of Douglasville, GA. and Lonnie Craig of Stokesdale; also surviving is his constant companion of 21 years, Becky Prescott and his two dogs, Sparky and Molly. A Memorial Service will be held at 9:30 AM Tuesday, July 15, 2008 at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel. The family will receive friends following the service.
