Jose Tapia

Mr. Jose Tapia, 37, passed away Friday, June 9, 2023, at Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home. He was born March 12, 1986, in Mexico to Flor Quinarez and the late Carmelo Tapia. Jose was a member at Woodland Baptist Church. He was a loving husband and father. Jose was known for his sense of humor, happiness, and work ethic. He never met a stranger. In his spare time, he enjoyed spending time with his family and friends and singing. In addition to his father, he is preceded in death by his son, Josecito Tapia. He is survived by his loving wife of 8 years, Erika Palacios; two children, Javian and Julian Tapia; three siblings; and several nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be conducted 11:00 AM Tuesday, June 13, 2023, at Woodland Baptist Church with Pastor Placido Osorio officiating. Interment will immediately follow the service at Crestview Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM Monday, June 12, 2023, at Hayworth-Miller Rural Hall Chapel.
