Kernersville – Mr. Jordan William McAlexander, 27, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, August 10, 2021 at his residence. He was born on August 11, 1993 in Forsyth County. Jordan was a graduate of East Forsyth High School. He was a veteran of the United State Marine Corps where he earned the rank of Corporal. Jordan loved dirt bikes and fishing. More than anything, Jordan loved being a father. His daughter, Piper was the biggest part of his world. He was a loving husband, father, son, brother, and friend who will be so missed by all who knew and loved him.
Jordan was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, James Johnson; his step-grandmother, Claudine Rowley; and his two brothers, Matthew McAlexander and Joshua Rowley. Left to cherish his memory are his loving wife, Kourtney McAlexander; daughter, Piper Jae McAlexander; his unborn son, Colson Matthew McAlexander; his mother and step-father, Lori and Jeremy Rowley; his father, James McAlexander; two sisters, MaryAnne Rowley and Katie Rowley; his maternal grandmother, Pearl Johnson; paternal grandparents, Charles and Lucy McAlexander; as well as special aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
A funeral service for Jordan will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, August 14, 2021 at First Christian Church will Dr. Pete Kunkle officiating. Burial will follow the service at Eastlawn Gardens of Memory. The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm on Friday, August 13, 2021 at Hayworth-Miller Kernersville Chapel. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Jordan’s name to Children's Hemiplegia and Stroke Association at www.chasa.org.
