Ms. Joni Marie Clark, age 50 of Pfafftown passed away early Wednesday morning, June 20, 2012 at Forsyth Medical Center in Winston-Salem. Joni was born in Guilford County, July 3, 1961 to John Marshall and Doris Jackson Clark. She was a Charter Member of Faith United Methodist Church in Rural Hall where she served on multiple committees and implemented many programs. Joni worked at Wachovia Bank until 2010. She graduated from Mt. Airy Senior High School in 1979 and from Wake Forest University in 1983 where she received her BA Degrees in Anthropology and Business. Joni enjoyed traveling especially to Disneyworld and researching family genealogy. In addition to her father, Joni was preceded in death by her grandparents: Gene and Maude Jackson, also John and Blanch Clark Surviving are her daughter, Emily Marie Clark, her mother, Doris J. Clark and one sister, Kathy (Don) Bailey, one niece, Erica (Tommy) Long and one nephew, Rev. Derek (Wendy) Bailey, Four great nephews, one great niece, and special friends, John, Debbie and Melissa Berg Funeral services for Joni will be held Friday, June 22, 2012 at 2:00 P.M. at Faith United Methodist Church in Rural Hall by Rev. Drew Southern. Burial will follow at Forsyth Memorial Park in Winston-Salem. The family will receive friends at the church Friday June 22nd from 12:00 until 1:30 P.M.
