Jone Lee Sellers

Jone Lee Sellers, 75, went to her heavenly home on Monday, May 29, 2023, in Forsyth County. She was born on September 22, 1947, in Hillsdale County, MI, to the late Theodore Roosevelt Harlan and Gertrude McClinton Harlan. Jone was a kindhearted woman, known her for wisdom and advice. She was not judgmental towards others in the slightest. A God-fearing woman, she was considered a prayer warrior by those who knew her. In her free time, Jone enjoyed swimming at the “Y”. She will be remembered for the immense amount of love she provided for everyone around her. She was a loving wife, mother, friend, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Jone will be greatly missed by the many hearts she touched in her lifetime.

In addition to her parents, Jone is preceded in death by her husband, Willie Joe Sellers, and brother Richard Harlan.

Left to cherish her memory are four daughters, Rachele Carrington (Albert), Megan Sellers, Sara Garrett (Keith), and Cassandra Salago Green; two sons, Caleb Sellers and Joshua Sellers; twenty grandchildren, Alyssa, Amber, Austin, Andrew, Antonio, Noah, Isiah, Micah, Chaelyn (Zach), Cameron, Nia (Jason), Nadia, Mathieu, Nala, Masai, Izrael, Moziah, Jayla, Phoenix, and Charlotte; as well as four great-grandchildren, Lucille, Cecille, Nehemiah, and Jeremiah; and her sisters in Christ, Olivia, Yvonne, and Janet.

A service will be held at a later date in Michigan at Carpenter House Church. Hayworth-Miller Kernersville Chapel is assisting the family.
