Jolene Ponjican

Mrs. Jolene Ponjican, 64, passed away on Saturday, December 18, 2021. She was born in Broome County, New York on July 12, 1957 to Joseph Mariano Darrigo and Arlene Lavernie Foster Darrigo. Jolene was a member of Heavenview United Pentecostal Church. She had recently moved to Winston-Salem after living in New York for all her life. In addition to her father, Jolene was preceded in death by a daughter, Sonya Brooks and brother, Larry Stillings. Surviving family includes her loving husband, Jano Ponjican; children, Michal Vasica, Elizabeth “Angel” Vasica; eleven grandchildren; one great-granchildren; mother, Arlene; sisters, Cathy Youngs, Bonnie Tew, and Debbie Lloyd; and brother, Ricky Stillings. A funeral service will be held at 10:00 am on Thursday, December 23, 2021 at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel with Pastor Harold Linder officiating.
