Johnny "Richard" Landreth

KERNERSVILLE - Johnny ""Richard"" Landreth, 67, died Monday, October 26, 2015 at Forsyth Medical Center. Richard was born on March 2, 1948 to Johnnie Paul and Pauline Crews Landreth. Richard was an active member of Bunker Hill United Methodist Church where he taught the New Horizons Class, was a member of United Methodist Men, was Chairman of the Finance Committee for a number of years; and having served on many committees, was currently serving on the Staff Parrish Relations Committee. He was the former Vice President of the International Association of Machinists Local 641. For the past 15 years, he was employed as the office manager at Salvage Discount.

Richard was preceded in death by his father, Paul Landreth.

Surviving are his wife of 46 years, Sharon Landreth of the home; 3 daughters, Bethany Howell (William) of Kernersville, Jennifer Cresimore (Andrew) of Kernersville, and Emilie Siler (Kevin) of Stokesdale; his mother, Pauline Landreth; 5 grandchildren, Madison Howell, Caleb Howell, Brayden Cresimore, Ryleigh Cresimore, and Maddox Siler.

A funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday, October 30, 2015 at Bunker Hill United Methodist Church with Rev. David Rorie officiating. Burial will follow at Bunker Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. Thursday, October 29, at the church.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Bunker Hill United Methodist Men, 1510 Bunker Hill Road, Kernersville, NC 27284.
