Johnny Paul Isaacs, Sr.

Mr. Johnny Paul Isaacs, Sr., 90, passed away Sunday, March 30, 2025, at Forsyth Medical Center. He was born March 28, 1935, in Stanley County, NC to the late Paul Isaacs and Alice Boyles Isaacs. Johnny was a loving father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. He was a faithful member at Bethania Moravian Church where he served on many committees throughout the years. Johnny loved his family dearly. In addition, he loved all sports, especially the Braves, golf, and being a proud supporter of the Wake Forest Deacon Club. Johnny served his country in the United States Navy for two years. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his loving wife of 53 years, Hilda Hemric Isaacs. Johnny is survived by his three sons, Johnny Isaacs, Jr. (Kristy); Timothy Isaacs (JoAnn), and Daniel Isaacs (Marie); four grandchildren, Paul, Jacob, Emily, and Hailey; three step-grandchildren, Brandon, Jessica, and Connor; five great-grandchildren, Jace, Josie, Eleanor, Allison, and Vanessa; one great-grandson on the way; one sister, Trish Freeman; and several nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be conducted 11 a.m. Friday, April 4, 2025, at Bethania Moravian Church with Rev. Linda Seippel, Rev. Charles Fishel, and Rev. David Merritt officiating. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, April 3, 2025, at Hayworth-Miller Rural Hall Chapel. A private interment will be held for the family at a later time.
