John Clark Schmitt

Mr. John Clark Schmitt, 57, of Clemmons, passed away Wednesday, April 14, 2021. He was born in Clifton Springs, NY on September 14, 1963, to John Sullivan Schmitt and Sandra L. Clark Sheehan. Clark was a graduate of Newark High School in Newark, NY and Daytona Beach Community College in Daytona Beach, FL. He was a proud veteran who served his country in the US Air Force.

Clark is preceded in death by his father and his brother, James Schmitt. Surviving is his son, Chad Allen Schmitt; mother, Sandra L. Sheehan; three sisters: Tracy Tearpock (Vincent), Renee Somerville (Scott), and Colleen Sheehan (Paul Manor); and many loving nieces and nephews.

A private celebration of life will be held in his honor at Hayworth-Miller Kinderton Chapel, officiated by Chaplain Rennie Adcock. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in his honor to Trellis Supportive Care, 101 Hospice Lane, Winston-Salem, NC 27103, or to the Jerry Long Family YMCA, 1150 S.
