John Wayne Woosley, 43, passed away May 19, 2010 at Wake Forest University Medical Center Palliative Care after a brief illness. John was born January 26, 1967 to Gaither Wayne Woosley and Marie Leticia Woosley. John was a graduate of High Point University, and worked in sales for several telecommunications companies and NAPA Auto Parts in Oldtown. John was preceded in death by his fraternal grandfather, Gaither William Woosley. John was a tender-hearted man who loved his family and friends. He leaves to cherish his memory a loving wife, Stacey Rumley Woosley of the home; stepsons, Jacob and Adam Horn of the home; father, Wayne Woosley (Riely) of Pfafftown; mother, Marie Leticia Petty (Kyle) of Winston-Salem; fraternal grandmother, Geraldine ""Gerry"" Marler Woosley of Winston-Salem; sisters, Challe Woosley Hudson (Tom) of Durham, and J'nie Woosley (Thom) of Pfafftown; niece, Ceilidh Woosley; nephews, Garrett, Tallis, and Weyland Hudson; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and countless friends. A service to celebrate John's life will be conducted at 7:00pm, Monday, May 24, 2010 at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel with Dr. Darryl Whitaker officiating. The family will greet friends following the service.
