John Reavis, Jr.

Kernersville – Mr. John William Reavis, Jr., 57, passed away on Thursday, November 26, 2020 at Forsyth Medical Center. He was born on October 25, 1963 in Forsyth County to John William Reavis, Sr. and Annie Hammonds Reavis. John was a veteran of the United States Army. He loved the outdoors, especially gardening and fishing. He enjoyed cooking and loved to spend time at the beach. John was of the Baptist Faith. He was currently employed with ABF Freight. John was very loving and caring. He was always putting others before himself. He was a loving son, father, grandfather, and friend who will be greatly missed.

John was preceded in death by his father. Left to cherish his memory are two daughters, Autumn Reavis (Levi Hunter) and Ashley Lee Reavis (Jeremiah Andrews); one grandson, Kingston Lee Andrews; his mother, Annie Marshall; two brothers, William Edward Reavis and Paul Reavis; one sister, Joyce Miller; a special friend and mother to his children, Janet Barham; and several nieces and nephews.

No services have been scheduled at this time. A private family service will be held at a later date. Hayworth-Miller Kernersville Chapel is assisting the family.
