John Edgar 'Eddie' Reinhardt

Mr. John Edgar ""Eddie"" Reinhardt, 77 of Winston-Salem passed away Saturday, February 4, 2012 at Grace HealthCare. Eddie was born September 2, 1934 in Forsyth County to the late Jacob Rush and Hattie Baber Reinhardt. Mr. Reinhardt was co-owner of Pat's Produce and was known for his great sense of humor. He was a passionate fan of Elvis Presley and loved watching and studying birds. In addition to his parents, Eddie was preceded in death by a brother, Jimmy Reinhardt, and three sisters, Katherine, Faye, and Betty Reinhardt, Surviving to cherish his memory is his wife, Patricia Hedrick Reinhardt of the home, six children, Charlene Jones of Jacksonville, Florida, Jack Doudna also of Jacksonville, Florida, Debbie Pernell and husband, Larry of Raleigh, NC, Karen Kinkead and husband David of Pleasant Garden, NC, Beth Abee and husband, Brad of Winston-Salem, Jake Reinhardt and wife, Teona of Advance, NC, seven grandchildren; Jason Spell, Jennifer Gray, Jeff Gibson, Robert Lester, Michelle Beck, Chris Lester, Crystal Lester, four great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 pm Monday, February, 6th at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel. The Funeral Service will be conducted 12:00 noon Tuesday, February 7th at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel officiated by Rev. Frank Shumate. Burial will follow in the Forsyth Memorial Park. The Reinhardt family would like to express their thanks to the 5th floor Nurses and staff at Grace Healthcare for the care given to Eddie and to Evercare Nurse, Sara Young for the care given to Eddie and his family.
