John Henry Murray

Belews Creek - John Henry Murray, 82, passed away on Thursday, April 13, 2023, at Kate B. Reynold’s Hospice Home. John was born on July 4, 1940, in Forsyth County to the late Howard and Alma Murray. He attended Walkertown High school. After graduating in 1958 he started farming full time.

John is survived by his devoted wife of 62 years, Doris Fair Murray; sons Henry, Mardy, Andy (Tammy); grandchildren Brittany Grubbs (Patrick), William Murray (Emily), Bryson Murray, Laci Murray; and great grandchild Jamie Claire Murray.

There will be a celebration of life with visitation for family and friends on Sunday, April 16, from 2:00 PM – 4:00 PM at Belews Creek Volunteer Fire Department.
