Mr. John Raymond Middleton, 62, of Winston-Salem passed away Monday, February 16, 2015 at Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center. He was born November 15, 1952 in Fairfax County, Virginia to George and Jimmie Weisner Middleton. John received his undergraduate degree from VCU and his Master's Degree from Wake Forest University. Formerly from Davidson County, he moved to Georgia where he worked with Service Master Corporation for 22 years and then worked 10 years for Newton County until his retirement. John returned back to Winston-Salem after his retirement. He was preceded in death by his son, Tres Middleton in 1993 and by his sister, Ann Middleton Peters. Surviving are his wife, Carol West Middleton; his mother, Norma Middleton; a brother-in-law, Robert Peters; a niece, Elizabeth Middleton Myrick; and his in laws, Roy and Nancy West. The family will receive friends from 5-7 PM, Saturday February 28, 2015 at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel.
