John Meadows

Mr. John Robert “Bob” Meadows, age 72 passed away Saturday, October 2, 2021 at Forsyth Medical Center. He was born September 11, 1949 in Forsyth County to the late Rome Calvin Meadows and Edith Everhart Meadows.  Mr. Meadows served in the US Army during the Vietnam War and had worked for Wachovia Bank and US Air as a computer technician.  He is survived by his wife Kathy C. Meadows; one daughter, Melissa M. Cox (John) of Lexington; four grandchildren, John Thomas, James Thomas, Kaitlyn Cox and Cassidy Cox and one sister, Verona Meadows.  A graveside service will be conducted at 2:00 PM Wednesday, October 6, 2021 at Yadkin Valley Baptist Church Cemetery by Pastors Mike McDaniel and Ronnie Craddock.  The family will receive friends following the service.  Online condolences may be made at www.hayworth-miller.com
