John Michael Lewis

Mr. John Michael Lewis, 47, of Clemmons, passed away Wednesday, October 24, 2012 at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center. He was born February 26, 1965 in Springfield, MA to George Richard and Zelphia Pelton Lewis. Mr. Lewis worked for Mark Cooper, helping him on his farm. He loved fishing, ole school rock from the ‘70's, and loved life in general. He always had a smile on his face and enjoyed making other people laugh. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Cynthia. Surviving are one daughter, Ashley Lewis of Westfield, MA; four brothers, George Lewis of Westfield, MA, Richard Lewis of Chicopee, MA, Francis Lewis of Holyoke, MA and Tim Lewis of Winston-Salem; and one sister, Sandra Boucher of Westfield, MA. The family will receive friends from 2-4 p.m. Saturday, October 27 at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel.
