John Henry Kapp

Mr. John Henry ""Johnny"" Kapp, 78, passed away Sunday, February 5, 2017 at Wake Forest Baptist Health. He was born in Forsyth Co. on May 18, 1938 the son of the late Dee Kapp and Annie Helsabeck Kapp. Johnny was a lifelong farmer. Work and farming were his life. Johnny is survived by his wife, Carol; a daughter, Caroline Fleischer (Mike); a son, Tommy Kapp; three grandchildren, Christopher Kapp, Jack Fleischer and Joel Fleischer. A graveside service will be conducted 3:00 p.m. Thursday, February 9, 2017 at Antioch United Methodist Church Cemetery with Rev. Eileen Ayuso officiating. The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 Wednesday, February 8, 2017 at Hayworth-Miller Funeral Home in Rural Hall. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Antioch United Methodist Church Cemetery Fund, c/o Robert Woods, 9191 Antioch Church Rd., Rural Hall, NC 27045.
