John Hemrick, Iii

Mr. John Henry Hemrick, III, 74, of Germanton, NC, passed away Wednesday, February 9, 2022, at his home. He was born June 21, 1947, in Forsyth County to the late John Henry Hemrick, Jr. and Madeline Tuttle Hemrick. He was a loving father, grandfather, and great grandfather. John was an avid NASCAR fan especially when it came to Dale Earnhardt and had a NASCAR memorabilia collection. Bowman Gray was one of John’s favorites past times.  John loved jigsaw puzzles, fishing, and having people come fishing at his pond. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Mildred Savannah Hemrick. He is survived by his son, Kurtis Lee Hemrick, Sr. (Joan); two grandchildren, Brandy Hemrick and Kurtis Lee Hemrick, Jr. (Jade); one great-grandchild, Banks Lee Hemrick; two sisters, Beverly Disher (Bill) and Emily Williams; and cousin, Steve Tuttle.  A memorial service will be conducted 2:00 Saturday, February 26, 2022, at Hayworth-Miller Rural Hall Chapel.
