John Thomas Harrison, Sr.

KERNERSVILLE - Mr. John Thomas Bailey Harrison, Sr., 85, of Roanoke, went to be with his Lord on January 8, 2015. He was preceded in death by his parents James and Lula Harrison of Salisbury, MD, a son, Timothy Wayne Harrison of Roanoke, and 11 brothers and sisters.
He was the owner of General Mobile Home Repairs for over 25 years. He never met a stranger and always had a special place in his heart for anyone in need.
He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Marie Maxie Harrison, daughter and son-in-law, Tina and Barry Thornhill, daughter Amy Harrison, granddaughter Ashlyn Harrison, and many nieces and nephews. Also surviving is his grandson J.B. Harrison, son J.T. Harrison, and daughter Jackie Harrison. He leaves behind a beloved dog and grand dog, Bentley and Duncan.

A private ceremony will be held on January 11 at Hayworth Miller Funeral Home in Kernersville, NC. A private interment will be at Sherwood Cemetery in Salem, VA on January 12.
