Mr. John Hobert Fulk, III, 51, of Advance died Thursday, January 13, 2011. He was born June 2, 1959 in Forsyth County to John Hobert Fulk, Jr. and Eva Bodenheimer Fulk. Mr. Fulk was a 1977 graduate of Edgewood Christian School and served proudly with the US Air Force. He was a former employee of US Airways and presently employed with Norfolk Southern Railroad. He was preceded in death by his father. Survivors include his wife Dana Brewer Fulk and one daughter, Wendy Jaclyn Fulk of the home; one son, Captain Benjamin John Fulk stationed at Fort Polk, LA; his mother, one brother, Michael Fulk and two sisters, Deborah Ball and husband, Keith and Julie Morris and husband, Robbie all of Forsyth County; and a number of nieces and nephews. The funeral service will be conducted Monday at 1:00 PM at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel with Brother Alvin Sell officiating. Burial will follow in Gardens of Memory, Walkertown. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
