John Nicholas Dalton

Mr. John Nicholas Dalton, 67, of Winston-Salem, passed away Wednesday, April 27, 2011 at his residence. He was born December 31, 1943 in Forsyth County to Hunter Nicholas and Grace Roberts Dalton. Mr. Dalton was owner/operator of Eagle Mortgage Company for over 20 years. He was a member of Union Grove Baptist Church, and loved bowling. He was preceded in death by his parents; one sister, Sandra Guynn; and a granddaughter, Kelsey Grace Haney. Surviving are his wife, Micki Weaver Dalton of Wisnton-Salem; two daughters, Star Hamilton and husband Daniel of Mt. Holly and Marion Haney and husband Jeff of King; one brother, Bobby Guynn and wife Wanda of Kernersville; eleven grandchildren; six great grandchildren; special sisters-in-law, Rene Garwood of Advance and Terri Williams and husband Gerald of Powder Springs, GA. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, April 30th at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel with Pastor T.W. Bailey officiating. Burial will follow in Forsyth Memorial Park.
