John Earl Bullock

BULLOCK Mr. John Earl Bullock, 75, of Winston-Salem, passed away Friday, October 16, 2009 at Forsyth Medical Center. He was born March 4, 1934 in Scranton, PA to George Earl and Isabella Ruddy Bullock. Mr. Bullock was a member of St. Leo the Great Catholic Church and was a graduate of Central High School. He was a veteran serving in the U.S. Navy and was currently employed with Hauser Rental. Mr. Bullock had a love and passion for jeeps and his grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents. Surviving are his wife of 53 years, Peggy Walsh Bullock of the home; six children, Tim Bullock of Winston-Salem, Kevin Bullock (Susan) of Clemmons, James Bullock, John Bullock (Sandy), Erin Love (Tim), and Jennifer Spencer, all of Winston-Salem; nine grandchildren; one great grandchild; and one sister, Ann Harding of Way Mart, PA. A funeral mass will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, October 19, 2009 at St. Leo the Great Catholic Church with Father John Walsh, his brother-in-law officiating. The family will receive friends at the church one hour prior to mass. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Heart Association, 4217 Park Place Ct., Glen Allen, VA 23060.
