Joe David Shrader

Joe David Shrader age 61 of Oak Ridge passed away Friday June 26, 2009. He was born March 27, 1948 in Mercer County, West Virginia to the late Lewis and Bethel Lynch Shrader. He was a US Army veteran. Mr. Shrader was a member of 1st Baptist Church of Summerfield. He was originally from Bluefield, West Virginia and moved to North Carolina in 1988. He was employed with the Rierson-Tull Inc. Surviving is his wife Jean Carol Shrader of the home, three daughters , Melissa Ann Gossett and husband Alex and Jodi Shrader Hughes and husband Frank all of High Point and Deborah Loreen Marshall of Waynesboro, Va.; 4 grandchildren, Bailee Elizabeth Hughes and Samantha (Sam) Lynn Hughes, Ali Marie Gossett and Jacob Cole Gossett, two sisters, Carolyn Barnett and husband John and Ann Price and husband C.D,all of Bluefield WV, a brother R.K. Shrader and wife Juanita of Monroe, GA Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Sunday June 28, 2009 at Hayworth-Miller Kernersville Chapel with Dr. Richard Odom and Rev. Roger Barricks officiating. Burial will follow at Lakeview Memorial Park in Greensboro. The family will receive friends 6-9 PM Saturday at the funeral home.
