Joe J.W. White Frazier, Jr.

High Point-Joe ""J.W."" White Frazier, Jr., 82 passed away Tuesday, December 28, 2010 at Wesley Long Hospital. He was born November 10, 1928 in Guilford Co. to the late Joe White Frazier, Sr. and Lela York Frazier. Mr. Frazier was a member of Sandy Ridge United Methodist Church and a charter member of Colfax Fire Dept. He was a United States Army veteran having served in the Korean Conflict. After 30 years of service Joe retired from Air Products and Chemical Co. One of the many things that he enjoyed was farming. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by three sisters, Cleo Robinson, Pearl Rayle, and Violet Fuller. Surviving are his wife of 56 years, Jo Ann Westmoreland Frazier of the home; his son, Keith Frazier and friend, Amanda Mason of High Point; two step-granddaughters, Karen Holt and husband, David, Lori Frasuer and husband, Brad; four step-great-grandchildren; one sister, Lake F. Williard of High Point; and one brother, Conrad Frazier and wife, Shirley of High Point. A Funeral Service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Friday, December 31, 2010 at Hayworth Miller Kernersville Chapel with Rev. Elise Kennedy officiating. Burial will follow in Sandy Ridge Cemetery.
