Joe Franklin Foster

Mr. Joe Franklin Foster, 89 of Winston-Salem, NC passed away Friday, June 4, 2010 at Forsyth Medical Center. Mr. Foster was born November 19, 1920 in Davie County to William ""Munch"" and Kathleen Cope Foster. He was a US Army Veteran of WWII and was a member of New Eden/Immanuel Moravian Church. Mr. Foster was retired from Hanes Hosiery after 32 years of service. Surviving are his wife, Ethel Roberts Foster of the home; a son, Mark Foster and wife, Pamela of East Bend, NC and a grandson, Nicholas Foster also of East Bend. A Graveside Service will be conducted 2:00 pm Sunday, June 6, 2010 in the Oaklawn Memorial Gardens officiated by the Rev. Robert Peek. Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association, P.O.
