Joe Carroll Boothe

Mr. Joe Carroll Boothe, age 63 of Pinnacle died Sunday morning, February 8, 2009 at Forsyth Medical Center in Winston-Salem. Joe was born November 26, 1945 in McDowell County, West Virginia to the late Rufus and late Virgie Prater Boothe. He was a member of Woodland Baptist Church in Winston-Salem. Joe enjoyed spending time watching his grandchildren play ball and enjoyed fishing. Surviving is his wife of 42 years Willie Boothe of the home. A daughter; Tonya Smith of King and son Michael (Kimberly) Boothe of Pinnacle. Three grandchildren; Stephanie Boothe, Allison Boothe and Jordan Smith. One sister; Barbara Savka of West Virginia. A special friend; Stanley Wayne Smith of Pinnacle. Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday, February 11, 2009 at Woodland Baptist Church in Winston-Salem at 11:00 A.M. by Rev. Tim Gammons, Rev. Zeno Groce, Rev. Vic Plyes and Don Walker. Burial will follow at Pinnacle Baptist Church in Pinnacle. The family will receive friends at Hayworth-Miller Funeral Home in Rural Hall Tuesday evening from 7:00 until 9:00 P.M.
