Ms. Jodi Hannah Boles, 29, passed away on May 4, 2017 at Forsyth Medical Center. She was born on August 3, 1987 to Darin Boles and Ann Martin Boles in Winston-Salem. Jodi graduated from North Davidson High School where she enjoyed athletics, particularly softball. She also graduated from Forsyth Technical Community College and Davidson Community College. As an animal-lover, she enjoyed working as a Veterinary Technician. She loved the outdoors, especially spending time with family at the beach. Jodi will be remembered for her big heart and fun-loving nature. She was preceded in death by maternal grandparents, Luther Gray and Ella Mae Martin; and great grandparents, Walter and Treva Major, Donald Black and Virginia Dare Weavil, and Howard and Ann Boles. Surviving are her loving parents, Darin and Ann Boles; brother, Lucas Martin (Brandi); sister, Crystal Robertson, grandparents, Billy Joe Boles and Linda Black Boles; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews and many friends. The family wishes to thank the many doctors and nurses who gave their all for Jodi; and a special thank you to Dr. David Duncan. A celebration of Jodi's life will be held at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, May 7, 2017 at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel. Interment will follow at Arcadia Church of Christ Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Saturday, May 6. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Forsyth Humane Society, 4881 Country Club Rd., Winston-Salem, NC 27104.
