JoAnne Wharton Gay

Kernersville - JoAnne W. Gay of Kernersville, NC formerly of Richmond and Charlottesville, VA, died Monday evening, March 2, 2009. She was the daughter of the late Marion H. and Raymond W. Wharton and the widow of R. Alan Gay. She leaves two children; Joseph Alan Gay and his wife Chris, of Kernersville, Kimberley G. Coy and her husband Jerry, of Fayetteville, NC and four grand children Meg; Ryan; Kaycie and Ben. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions be made to Hospice of the Piedmont 1801 Westchester Dr., High Point, NC 27262 or 675 Peter Jefferson Way, Suite 300, Charlottesville, VA 22911.
